i asked my friend paige to come thrifting with me today as i wanted some new pieces for my wardrobe and i'm rly trying to have better shopping habits, that is, not shopping on shein, and being more thoughtful and intentional with the pieces that i am buying, so my wardrobe isn't overwhelming to pick an outfit from. there's still a couple pieces i need to find to finish it the kinda style i want to have, and i'd like some more accessories, too. i was hoping to find some at redbrick market (i love redbrick market sm)

anyway it was really cool and fun, despite how rainy and cold it was. we started with some lunch and coffee, then managed to find a piece each in 3 different charity shops that we went into. they will be really good pieces for layering! then we made it to town and looked round the market, i grabbed some patches and tried not to buy kuromi merch.

then the arcade bar got a revamp and so went there and sat and kiki'd for a bit with a drink. also, you can see i have decided to renovate my site, so, that said,

site update

i am renovating the site! wow. it's going to happen very slowly, since i need to also cram in an assignment over the weekend, so i will be trying to hyperfocus on that and not wanting to re-code my whole site. something to be said about how each time an assignment is due, i want to do some coding instead. we won't examine that.
