i'd like to have updated my site more lately, but-- the weather. this august has seen us get two heatwaves that have hit +30c, here in the UK. my room gets very warm, so i've avoided getting on my PC as much as possible, and have been staying downstairs instead if i can.

well! i turned 32 a couple of weeks ago. in the middle of one heatwave. i got to spend time with my family (and force them to watch the last unicorn), i went out for a good night with my work friends and got to see a drag show, and then a fun day out to the local safari park.

the gay bar had miss gloria love performing and, it was really fun since paige and harry joined me happily in watching it, instead of dragging me off to another floor. she performed live songs and her singing is so amazing, and it was really fun to find a new fav organically like that, and have a gay asf night out. it really makes me want to see more drag shows and get out to the gay bars more.

my sister got me the steelbook version of FFXII: the zodiac age, which is one of my favourite games - i used to have a copy a long time ago but i lost it while moving away from an ex. which i've been sad about for a long time and i've always wanted to get it back. it just has such beautiful art, and the game is very special to me. i really love it.

my younger sister also got me the clinique black honey lipstick which i've also been wanting for agesssss, it's viral but i've wanted it because i'm pretty sure pink or black honey was the colour they used on liv taylor as arwen in LOTR, so it's just perfect to me. and it does look so good and so beautiful too. definitely a fav/forever pick in my makeup.

i got myself an ipod nano so i could return to my roots of pirating music and actually owning my music library, and i can cancel my spotify sub since they're a morally shitty company.

of course, i want to try my best to support my favourite artists by buying physical media again. i've pre-ordered ash's new album, so i can get pre-sale access to tour tickets!!

life has been good. i have a day session booked for more tattoos in october, and i'm finally going to get my dream tattoo that i've been holding off for a while. i still can't really cope with the levels of heat here, and i'm getting a lot of very early 5am shifts which are killing me off-- i'm not meant for pre-10am, let alone 4am. i just end up working and sleeping non-stop, and my pain levels are getting bad again.

but i have lots of things to look forward to :3
