i am back!! after 7 days we have internet again..... my gods

well, i have played a lot of offline games, and used a lot of hotspot mobile data, and watched a lot of dvds.

yesterday we went out to stratford for my sister's birthday, and it was very fun! it's been really hot, and none of us really deal well with heat... but we did our best.

we browsed some charity shops before finding a cute sushi place to eat lunch, and ordered a LOT of sushi. it was amazing. i had a really good vanilla milk tea with tapioca.

we hit up some more shops, and then headed over to the riverside to enjoy the sights (and sit in some shade...), BUT whimsy took us and we decided to take a cute little boat ride!!

it was just us and a young mother on the whole boat, so it felt very luxurious and private, and the shade of the boat cover was lovely as we went up and down. i will add a photo page soon to add these photos on!

to finish, we got ice cream before the drive back home, and pizzas for dinner while we watched the emperor's new groove.
